Episodes include: Disorder in Court, The Brideless Groom, Malice in the Palace, and Sing a Song of Six Pants.
Another good collection of Moe, Larry and Shemp episodes. "Cuckoo on a Choo-Choo" has always been one of my favorites--in spite of the poor reputation its garnered over the years. Opinions seem to range all over the map about Choo-Choo.
Some say it's one of the stooges very worst--hard to imagine this short belonging in the same territory as something like "Horsing Around", but you know what they say opinions are like. Regardless, I find "Cuckoo" to be extremely funny.
Also--much to my pleasant surprise--the print of "Love at First Bite" was hardly as bad as some reviews led me to believe before I bought this tape. I was expecting something very dark and hard to see, but no--the Goodtimes print of this short is quite clear. Maybe it suffers in comparison to the official Columbia DVD release, but that's to be expected. In any event, "Love" is very watchable, from a visual standpoint, as well as just being a good stooge short.
"Shot in the Frontier" is one of the better Shemp western episodes, aided very much by the presence of one of my all-time favorite stooge ladies, Diana Darrin (va-va-voom).
Overall, a very good selection of stooge comedies.
