Written and directed by "Alien" scripter Dan O'Bannon, this ghoulish shocker serves up heaping helpings of gory terror and camp humor. A toxic gas re-animates a dead body which, once it's remains are burned, creates acid rain that turns a cemetery full of corpses into monstrous zombies with (in the first film to feature it) a taste for human brains. Thom Matthews, James Karen, Clu Gulager, and Linnea Quigley star.
