Like her saucy debut UK hit "Let's Get Back to Bed Boy", Sarah Connor's Green Eyed Soul is plied full of numbers, which don't exactly "beat around the bush" in regards to sex. From "French Kissing" to "In My House" it appears that Sarah wants to be viewed as a "bit of a goer". The lyrics to "Let Us Come 2Together" ("So get it up, pull your pants off and make it") and "Undressed" ("All we're gonna do, is keep on bouncing around forever") don't leave much to the … mehrimagination either. That said her sexual appetite is more slap-stick, seaside picture postcard style banter, than anything more insalubrious. What' s more the album does offer much more than these Backstreet Boys/Britney type R&B / pop sex numbers (it's worth noting that Backstreet collaborator Bülent Aris did produce a number of the album tracks). "From Sarah With Love" and "Imagining" are much less explicit and considerably more laid-back tunes. As well as adopting a similar "minx" image to 80s pop / sex idol Sam Fox, there are plenty of other similarities between Sarah and Sam. Just as Ms Fox recorded with ace-American dance outfit Full Force, Sarah's hooked up with rapper TQ for that little extra credibility ("Let's Get Back to Bed Boy" and "Can't Get None"). Connor's rabid sexuality may not appeal to some but overall a pop-tastic debut long-player--John Galilee weniger
